For this image-heavy website, I used mostly royalty-free stock images or public domain images from wikimedia that are licenced for commercial use and sold by the author for free. I respect copyright that asks us not to steal photos and images from Flickr or Instagram or Pinterest or off of someone’s social media feed; I know how much work goes into photography and image creation. These authors are generous in creating these images for commercial use and/or putting them in the public domain for free. I often adapted and layered them to create new images. This is a list of the stock image authors.

Colored region is posterior section of the superior temporal gyrus (pSTG) of the left cerebral hemisphere. Though this region is generally treated as Wernicke’s area, there are many researches and discussions about its exact size and anatomical boundaries. Colored region is pars opercularis and pars triangularis of the inferior frontal gyrus. Broca’s area is now typically defined in terms of the pars opercularis and pars triangularis of the inferior frontal gyrus.
